SERIOUSLY. I have to say, scrolling through my dashboard I sometimes encounter some horrific imagery of wounds and cuts and general self harming. It completely bewilders me that people actually find that stuff COOL, because to me it’s disgusting. It’s not beautiful, it’s self mutilation in one of the worst ways. I get that people cut for legitimate reasons and I have nothing against their decision to do that. It’s their life, and everybody has a different coping mechanism. However, people who harm themselves.. well. If it were me, and god forbid I somehow got into the mindset and actually did that to myself, I’d be terrified, embarrassed, upset and ashamed with myself that I could do that to my own body. So who in their right mind could ever harm themselves, and then think “OH, I KNOW! I’ll post a picture of this on tumblr/the internet!”  ….Just no. No.
